Gymshark opens first permanent store outside of the UK in Dubai
Gymshark has opened its much anticipated new 4,300 sq ft store at The Dubai Mall in the UAE, following a successful pop-up at the destination.
It marks the UK gymwear brand’s first permanent store outside of the UK, though it does currently have a pop-up running in New York until 1 February 2025 ahead of permanent flagship opening there later this year.
Gymshark will also be opening its third permanent store on home soil at Westfield London in early 2025, adding to its store at Westfield Stratford, which opened in July 2024 and its Regent Street flagship, which opened in October 2022.
There are also plans to open a store at The Kalverstraat in Amsterdam in spring 2025 and the Trafford Centre in Manchester in the summer.
The Dubai store has Gymshark’s increasingly trademark look and feel, including mannequins created from real people in the community, destinations for its hero products and personal shopping suites.
The opening follows the launch of localised e-commerce services in the region with a dual language site and app, as well as faster shipping times including same day delivery.
For men, the new Dubai store is carrying Gymshark’s ‘Tectonic’, ‘Heritage’ and ‘Power’ ranges, as well as its new ‘Running’ collection. There is also Dubai Mall exclusives, including t-shirts, and a shorts destination area.
For women, there is Gymshark’s ‘Vital’ line, dedicated areas for leggings and sports bras, as well as an exclusive new modest activewear range with Muslim fitness content creator, Leana Deeb.

The new Dubai store is located on the ground floor of the mall, close to the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.
The Dubai Mall is the second largest mall in the world by total land area and welcomes over 54 million shoppers through its doors every year.
