Gymshark confirms opening date of first retail store

Gymshark London is to debut its first pop-up high street retail store in Covent Garden, with an opening date of 28 February 2020.

Dubbed GymsharkLDN and located in Long Acre, Covent Garden, the pop-up store will operate for four weeks, until 29 March 2020. The store will feature Gymshark’s most popular gym clothing pieces, alongside free experiential offers, such as in-store fitness classes in the mornings or evenings.

In a statement, Gymshark added that visitors can "expect to find the shop refreshed with new releases every week".

Admission to the Gymshark classes are free, but due to limited spaces require pre-booking, with advice being issued to do so as soon as possible. The first release of Gymshark x GymBox classes are currently available, with the second release due on 1 March.

Last year, Gymshark invested over £5m in the Gymshark Lifting Club, a studio and fitness centre in Solihull, focussing on employee wellbeing, brand innovation, team training and engagement.

This week, Gymshark was named the UK’s fastest growing fashion brand internationally, with the sportswear retailer seeing an average increase of 115.7% in international sales in the last two years.
