Gucci unveils Adidas collaboration at Milan Fashion Week
Gucci has unveiled its AW22 collection during Milan Fashion Week, showcasing a new collaboration with German sportswear brand Adidas.
Creative Director Alessandro Michele presented a colourful mix of materials for the collection, adapting Adidas' Trefoil and Three Stripes logo to tailored suits, lightweight trench coats, jersey maxi dresses, berets, capes and giant leather bags.
According to The Associated Press, Michele said the collaboration was "his longtime desire", as "stripes and lines are incredible symbols".
The Italian fashion house also revealed the upcoming Gucci x Adidas Originals Gazelle sneakers, featuring snakeskin, suede, velvet G-monogram, and classic Gucci-colored leather variations. While further details of the collaboration have not yet been announced, the collection is set to drop later this year.
