Google vice president of product Bradley Horowitz has joined the board of fashion search platform Lyst to provide support on product development and management.

Horowitz's appointment to the British-based businesses' board follows that of LVMH chief digital officer Ian Rogers who also joined in 2018 following the luxury conglomerate's investment in the business.

Founded in 2010 Lyst is now the largest fashion search platform in the world. In the last year, over 80 million shoppers used the platform, which in the last twelve months launched localised experiences in 14 countries including France, Germany, Russia and Japan.

Its founder Chris Morton said Horowitz was "a true product visionary, with a wealth of experience in building and scaling world-leading technology companies. At this transformational time for the industry, his support will be invaluable as we continue on our mission to create the leading platform for all shoppers to search and discover fashion online."

Horowitz added: “Lyst is in a unique position in terms of scale and technology, with the huge global fashion ecommerce opportunity to play for. This makes for a product with exceptional growth potential. I’m hugely excited to be joining the board.”

His appointment coincides with three new senior Lyst hires. Lucas McGregor joins as Chief Technology Officer, bringing experience from large-scale global technology enterprises including The Walt Disney Company and Lottovate. Simon Dance, former EU Head of SEO for Amazon, has returned to Lyst as SVP of Growth. Nicolas Combremont, previously at Expedia Group, joins in September as SVP of International.

Lyst brings together an inventory of 5 million products from 12,000 partners including Gucci, Net-a-Porter, Farfetch, Matches Fashion and Balenciaga.
