London-based luxury label Goat has launched an elevated capsule collection of jersey pieces called "Jersey Boutique" offering the brand's aesthetic at a more accessible price point.

Launched today the line comprises 14 dresses and four separates based on classic Goat styles, re-imagined in high-quality jersey fabric.

Dresses include the Henriette, a wide necked pencil dress with a bow detail on the shoulder; the Janina, featuring princess seaming through the bodice and an integrated belt and the Jilly, a shapely tunic dress with frill details on the hem and sleeve. Separates include the Koo, a cocoon top with elegant seam detailing; the Kit, a high necked top with gold buttons and the classic Jade pencil skirt with bow detailing on the back.

The colour palette covers black and navy as well as seasonal shades including pale blue and hot red.

While jersey is now often associated with leisurewear, in the 1960s it was widely used for more structured pieces and that it what inspired the collection.

Founder of Goat Jane Lewis said: "I’ve always loved well-cut classic jersey pieces from the past and wanted to use our knowledge and experience at Goat to create an elevated complimentary capsule. I want to offer the same level of style and detail as our seasonal collections to a wider range of customers and maintaining the high level of finish that we are known for."

Prices for the collection start at £220 for separates and £295 for dresses.
