Luxury resale marketplace Loop Generation has secured an investment from Ghost owner and Dragon’s Den star Touker Suleyman and New Look Founder Tom Singh OBE.

The London-based start-up offers a range of pre-loved designer womenswear, menswear, accessories, shoes and unused beauty products. This includes items from Gucci, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Fendi and Prada. Along with 111 Skin, La Mer and Zelens.

Loop Generation launched as an online marketplace in 2019 and recently opened its first physical store at 295 Brompton Road in London’s Chelsea. The business hopes to offer consumers the opportunity to buy and sell items whilst promoting an interest in mindful shopping, cutting down on needless consumption and focusing on quality.

The value of the investment by Suleyman and Singh was not revealed, but marks the latest fashion venture for the two entrepreneurs.

Touker Suleyman is a British-Turkish Cypriot fashion retail entrepreneur, investor and television personality. In 2001, his company Low Profile Group purchased UK shirt maker Hawes & Curtis. In 2002, he purchased UK fashion label Ghost. Since then, he has invested in a number of start-up companies and has been a dragon since 2015.

Tom Singh OBE is the Founder of New Look. He currently holds the position of Non-Executive Board Member for New Look and is a founding member of the Social Investment Task Force, Chairman of the UK Advisory Council for the British Asian Trust and Trustee of the Pakhar Foundation.
