Just two days before its opening on Thursday, the Victoria Gate shopping centre in Leeds has revealed that more fashion and lifestyle brands, including Ghost, Diverso and Cath Kidston, have taken stores in the development.

Premium womenswear brand Ghost will open its first store outside of London having signed for an 80sqm store at the centre, which was developed by Hammerson and which sits side by side with Leeds' premium shopping destination the Victoria Quarter.

Cath Kidston is taking a 96sqm store while young men's fashion brand Diverso is opening its third store in a 60sqm unit. The centre has also attracted sunglasses and glasses boutique Bailey Nelson which is also opening its first store outside of London in a 60sqm unit.

These latest names join Hackett, Tommy Hilfiger, Anthropologie, GANT and Calvin Klein among others at the £165m development. "We are delighted that we’ve continued to debut great new brands in Leeds. With only a few days to go until Victoria Gate opens, Cath Kidston, Bailey Nelson, Diverso and Ghost are all exciting additions which will soon propel Leeds to the third top ranking shopping destination outside of London," said Hammerson director of retail development Richard Dobson.

The new centre will be anchored by department store John Lewis.
