Garage continues UK retail expansion with new store at Lakeside
Cult Canadian activewear, athleisure and denim brand Garage has signed for a 4,221 sq ft store at Lakeside Shopping Centre in West Thurrock, Essex, as it continues to expand its retail presence in the UK.
Known for its elevated off-duty essentials and cult following among Gen Z across the US and Canada, with 231 stores across North America, Montreal-founded Garage has already opened a flagship store in London at 321 Oxford Street West and another store at Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent this year.
They followed the launch of the brand's UK e-commerce website, previously described as a “major milestone”, with two further store openings in Manchester imminent at the Trafford Centre and the Arndale.

The announcement follows news of the signings of Puresoul, Space NK and Oliver Bonas at Lakeside, which is owned and operated by SGS UK Retail.
