Garage confirms Manchester stores as it accelerates UK expansion
Canadian fashion brand Garage is expanding its presence in the UK with the opening of two new stores in Manchester later this year, located at Manchester Arndale and Trafford Centre.
The expansion marks the next phase of the brand’s international growth strategy, reinforcing its focus on the UK market.
It follows Garage’s UK debut at Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent earlier this month, which introduced the brand’s first physical store in the country and its full retail concept to local shoppers.
Additionally, Garage has today opened a two-level flagship in London at 321 Oxford Street West, designed to showcase its complete range of products.
It also launched online in the UK last month, giving customers nationwide access for the first time, with shipping available across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The brand, founded in 1975 in Montreal, gained recognition in North America during the 1990s and 2000s for casual denim, hoodies and streetwear styles.
Its aesthetic is now being updated for contemporary trends, with low-rise jeans, fitted tops and other early-2000s-inspired pieces.
As it continues to expand its presence in the UK, Garage aims to reach Gen Z shoppers who also frequent brands such as Bershka, Pull&Bear and Urban Outfitters.
