Gap has teamed up with historic American mill Pendleton Woolen Mills to create a plaid- and denim-centred capsule collection celebrating American style.

The Gap x Pendleton collection features styles for men, women, kids and baby and brings together Gap's signature denim with plaids drawn from Pendleton's archive of historic patterns. Pendleton has been weaving fabrics in North West America for 153 years and is known for its fabric innovation and eco-friendly technology.

"We're excited to bring a unique pairing of two American icons to our customers with this new collaboration combining the best of Gap and Pendleton's signature styles," said Gap Global President Jeff Kirwan. "Both brands have played an important role in shaping the American wardrobe and have won generations of fans along the way, making this the ideal collection to share with the whole family."

The range includes shirt dresses ($69.95), denim (jeans and jacket both $79.95), shirts ($59.95) and ponchos ($199) for women, a puffer vest ($98), shirt jackets ($199), baseball caps ($24.95) and scarves for men ($49.95), tote bags ($49.95-$64.95) and a full range for kids and babies ranging in price from $16.95 to $44.95. It will be available in select global stores and at Gap.com this month.
