American sportswear brand GANT is to launch a limited edition collection of hiking boots with Italian footwear maker Diemme.
Produced in Diemme's artisanal factory, located outside of Venice, the boots feature subtle design elements from GANT's heritage as well as Diemme's mountaineering craftsmanship.
Based on Diemme's classic Roccia Vet hiking boot, the collection is crafted in full-grain, vegetable-dyed cowhide leather, and has custom tonal and non-tonal rubber trims.
Christopher Bastin, GANT's Global Artistic Director, said: "Diemme has been on my radar for a long time. They're the perfect example of a brand that has catapulted a heritage product range into the higher echelons of fashion without compromising on quality and craftsmanship. When the opportunity to collaborate came along it was a no brainer."
Available in Orange, Tan and Yellow, each boot comes with three additional shoe lace colours so customers can put their own spin on the premium product.
The limited edition collection will be available in selected retailers and online from today.
In February, GANT entered the fashion rental market as part of sustainability strategy, making a small selection of its SS20 collection available to rent at its Regent Street store.
GANT is known around the globe for its offerings of premium clothing, accessories and home furnishings. The brand has a presence in over 70 markets, 750 stores and 4,000 selected retailers.
