Ganni CEO exits after two years
Ganni's CEO, Laura du Rusquec, departed from the company quietly last week after two years, with Hans Hoegstedt, a retail executive and former CEO of Tom Dixon, taking over as interim executive.
Du Rusquec is leaving her position to "pursue other opportunities," Ganni told Vogue. She has not publicly shared her next move yet.
She joined the Danish contemporary women's brand in 2024, replacing former CEO Andrea Baldo, who had been with the company for more than five years, driving double-digit annual growth and establishing its retail presence.
Prior to joining Ganni, Du Rusquec spent seven years at Balenciaga, where she most recently served as deputy CEO. She also held senior leadership positions at Kering, was global brand director for marketing and merchandising at Pomellato for 3.5 years, and worked in strategy at Gucci.
Du Rusquec's departure from Ganni follows a series of recent leadership hires for the brand. In December, Ganni announced three new senior appointments to help lead its next phase of global growth. Marcelo Noschese joined as President, Americas, while Marie Valot was appointed Communication and PR Executive Director, and Guillaume Dacquet was hired as Marketing & Image Executive Director.
At the time of their appointment, Du Rusquec said: "Marcelo, Marie and Guillaume each bring exceptional expertise and a shared commitment to innovation, creativity and cultural relevance. As we enter an exciting new phase for Ganni, this leadership team will be critical in driving our global vision forward with clarity and ambition."
