Future Stores, a new retail concept that blends the worlds of media, retail and digital performance marketing, is soon to open its doors on London's Oxford Street.

The 435 sqm store at 95 Oxford Street will house an ever-changing rota of well-known brands, who can use the multi-media space to showcase their offer to the 1.3 million people who pass by the door on a weekly basis.

It features state of the art LEDs covering 400 sqm of wall and ceiling space, alongside innovative data capture to provide unique customer insights to anyone hiring the space. This creates a hybrid retail-media platform that helps brands "captivate audiences, drive impactful marketing campaigns, and generate sales".

How the inside of Future Stores will look

Founder and chair of Future Stores Ariel Haroush said the company had looked around the globe for the location of the first store and that, due to the "rich heritage", London and Oxford Street were "always top of the list".

“As we move  towards the opening in Autumn, not only are we delighted to create 40 new jobs, but also look forward to changing the face of retail, through a concept that asks why the high street can’t be as dynamic as your Instagram feed – ever changing, ever engaging and that is exactly what we plan to deliver with this world first," Haroush said.

The store will open on 30 October. Its arrival follows the recent news that the Mayor's Office plans to pedestrianise Oxford Street amid plans to recapture its position as one of the world's leading retail destinations.
