Frugi supports Royal Botanic Gardens Family Programme for its Easter collection

Sustainable children's clothing company Frugi is to support the Royal Botanic Gardens Family Programme this Easter, as part of its new Spring/Summer 2022 collection campaign.

The Family Programme is a cross-site activity over the Easter holidays that sees families explore nature by following interactive nature trails. This year the trails will create a narrative that is based on the children’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

Annually the programme sees around 120,000 visitors join in at Kew Gardens and 32,000 at Wakehurst. This year it will run from 2 April at Kew Gardens and Wakehurst, and will last until the 18 and 24 April respectively.

In both locations Frugi's new season collection will be available to purchase in the gift shops. It was inspired by bright and beautiful flowers that bloom in spring, and features colourful, fun prints for babies, toddlers, and children through 12 years.

Frugi CEO Sarah Clark said: “We are excited to collaborate with the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew and Wakehurst for this exciting programme.  It is a true testament of Frugi’s ongoing commitment to educate and inspire children to love the natural world and to continue to encourage everyone to protect the planet we all play on.”

Paul Denton, Head of Visitor Programmes at RBG Kew added: “It’s wonderful to be able to collaborate with Frugi on these new interactive trails for Easter 2022 at both Kew Gardens and Wakehurst. The Very Hungry Caterpillar trails will inspire the next generation of visitors to encounter new and exciting perspectives on the world around us, an ethos which is shared by both RBG Kew and Frugi.”

At the beginning of this year Frugi hit a donation milestone, having raised £1 million for charities and causes over the last 18 years.
