From coffee to catwalk: Blank Street unveils limited-edition ‘Sleeve’ this LFW
New York-founded coffee chain Blank Street is stepping into fashion, unveiling a limited-edition cup accessory designed to turn its drinks into a styling statement during London Fashion Week.
Founded in New York in 2020, Blank Street has quickly grown into a coffee and matcha player known for reimagining the everyday coffee run as a curated moment. The business now operates across New York City, London and beyond.
Each location is designed to reflect the character of its neighbourhood, positioning the brand as a lifestyle touchpoint as much as a caffeine stop.
Now, the company is pushing that positioning further with the launch of ‘The Sleeve’ - a quilted, puffer-inspired cup holder that blends practicality with fashion sensibility. Announced today, the one-size-fits-all accessory has been designed to fit both iced and hot cups across all Blank Street locations globally.
After noticing customers sharing images of themselves clutching iced drinks throughout winter, Blank Street developed a padded, cloud-like sleeve designed to keep hands warm while complementing an outfit. Rendered in the brand’s signature green, the silhouette borrows from the puffer jacket, reimagined for a coffee cup.
Launching globally during London Fashion Week, where Blank Street is an official partner of the British Fashion Council for February, the release marks the brand’s first formal move into fashion. A pop-up bar will feature inside the London Fashion Week NewGen space, serving signature drinks to guests.
Issam Freiha, Co-Founder and CEO of Blank Street, said: "The Sleeve celebrates everything we love at Blank Street - creativity, style and innovation.
"This idea was developed internally by Elizabeth Brierley, Senior Marketing Associate. She came up with the concept during our Scotland launch last year, which coincided with one of the region’s coldest weeks. The initial sleeve was a limited-edition run for the market launch, which was so popular it eventually turned into a broader brand initiative for us."

The editorial campaign stars New York-based model, artist and columnist Ella Snyder, while showcase events will take place on 17 February at 100 Shoreditch in London and The Greenhouse at Nine Orchard Hotel in New York.
The Sleeve will launch in limited quantities from 21 February 2026 in select London and New York stores, as well as online at blankstreet.com, retailing at £14 / $18.
