Frédéric Arnault, the second youngest son of LVMH's owner Bernard Arnault, is set to become the new CEO of the company's unsung hero - Loro Piana. The appointment follows a flurry of changes within the luxury conglomerate, reinforcing its strategy to promote from within.

Currently CEO of LVMH Watches, Arunault (pictured above) will take the helm at the prestigious Italian brand, renowned for its quiet luxury aesthetic,  on 10 June. Meanwhile, Damien Bertrand, currently CEO of Loro Piana, will transition to Louis Vuitton as Deputy CEO, while Fendi CEO Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou will become Deputy CEO of Christian Dior Couture.

Arnault, who previously led LVMH Watches, modernised Tag Heuer’s approach to digital innovation, overseeing acquisitions such as Swiss clockmaker L’Épée 1839 and establishing LVMH’s decade-long partnership with Formula 1. His new role at Loro Piana will see him build on these achievements, ensuring the brand stays true to its heritage of "quiet luxury".

The reshuffle also sees Bertrand return to Louis Vuitton, where he previously worked from 2016 to 2021. He previously worked for L’Oréal and at Dior.

Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, who joined LVMH in 2019 as Strategic Missions Director for Louis Vuitton and later became executive Vice President, will take on a new role at Christian Dior Couture. Angeloglou will work closely with Delphine Arnault, who became the CEO of Dior Couture in 2023.

The three appointments aim to propel the luxury conglomerate, which reported revenues of £71 billion (€84.7 billion) in 2024. Despite a "challenging economic and geopolitical environment", LVMH reported continued growth (up by 1% on an organic basis) thanks to demand in Europe and the US as well as its leather goods category.

As the luxury giant continues to evolve, the Arnault family’s influence remains central, with Frédéric Arnault’s appointment at Loro Piana marking the next step in the dynasty's legacy of steering the world’s most prestigious luxury brands toward even greater heights.
