Fred Perry unveils new HQ and showroom

Fred Perry has unveiled its new London HQ and showroom situated in former Victorian warehouses in Clerkenwell.

The brand is moving from its long-standing HQ in Covent Garden into the space, which it leased in 2015. The property comprises two 19th century warehouse buildings on the corner of Mount Pleasant and Warner Street, opposite a former Royal Mail Sorting Office.

Fit out and refurbishment specialist Overbury transformed the buildings in partnership with architects Buckley Gray Yeoman. The 27,000 sq ft space stretches over seven floors.

The fit out specialists and architects created a contemporary space while respecting the building's heritage. As well as having to retain an iconic façade, the team also had the challenge of working around World War II damage plaques, located in the north stairwell.

"This has been an exciting project from the beginning and we’re thrilled with the outcome. With the Fred Perry brand having such a rich history, it was important that the brand was echoed throughout the new spaces while still giving a contemporary feel that meets today’s standards," said Overbury managing director in London Andy Paton.
