Fred Perry launches collaboration with Japanese brand Beams

Tom Shearsmith
12 March 2020

Fred Perry and Japanese brand Beams have teamed up for a capsule collection featuring twists on classic pieces, featuring reinterpretations of the brands Laurel Wreath logo.

Starting as a small shop in Tokyo in 1976, Beams has since grown into a significant retail force in Japan, as well as being internationally renowned for their approach to working with global partners.

The capsule collection includes polo shirts, T-shirts, tracksuits, trousers and bowling shirts, all pieces feature a repeated Fred Perry logo in blue, orange, green and purple colours inspired by tennis courts.

The collaboration with Beams could signify Fred Perry attempting to reenergise public interest in the brand, in a similar fashion to H&M's consistent stream of collaborations keeping customers engrossed.

The collection is available to buy now online at www.fredperry.com and in-store.
