Frasers Group to open multi-brand concept in Leicester
Mike Ashley's Frasers Group has announced it will be opening a multi-brand concept at a Leicester retail park next year.
The new sports and lifestyle complex in Leicester will house a number of the retail group's brands including Flannels, USC, Sports Direct, Evans Cycles and an e-sports area branded under Game, the group’s video games retailer.
The Fosse Park store will be a 90,000 sq ft “sports and lifestyle destination”. The development will cost more than £15m to deliver, could create up to 2,000 jobs and comes with a 15-year lease.
Retailers currently at the location apart from Sports Direct include JD Sports and JD’s Footasylum chain. Other retailers include M&S, Next, Boots, Pandora, River Island, Clarks, New Look, Outfit, Superdrug and Primark.
