Flannels has opened its largest store to date in a former branch of House of Fraser in Victoria Square, Belfast.

The 30,000 sq ft store takes over the top floor of the store with the rest set to be redeveloped into the first iteration of the new Frasers concept from the Frasers Group (formerly Sports Direct International), which owns both House of Fraser and Flannels.

A small number of House of Fraser stores, which were acquired by the then Sports Direct International in August 2018, will be transformed into new higher-end stores called Frasers.

Designed by London and Miami-based agency Argent, whose projects have included yachts and private planes as well as high end retail, the store sells luxury brands including Gucci, Prada, Chloe, Burberry, Off White, Stone Island, Moncler and CP Company. It also includes a Flannels cafe & bar.

“We are really proud to open this new luxury retail destination in the heart of Belfast. Our next-generation, elevated stores offer customers the biggest and best brands in luxury fashion and contemporary streetwear all under one roof,” said Frasers Group head of elevation Michael Murray.

Flannels is expanding across the UK and now has 46 stores. Earlier this year it opened a £10 million flagship store in London’s Oxford Street.
