More than 20 brands have been confirmed for a new £90m outlet and leisure destination in North Yorkshire.

Scotch Corner Designer Village will be situated on the A1(M), with the 250,000 sq ft scheme featuring up to 92 units in its first phase, as developer Scotch Corner Richmond LLP is investing £90m to help launch the project.

The 23 brands that have confirmed their involvement so far include:

  • BOSS at 3,175 sq ft
  • Calvin Klein at 2,500 sq ft
  • Tommy Hilfiger at 3,900 sq ft
  • Adidas at 10,225 sq ft
  • Levi's at 2,900 sq ft
  • Skechers at 2,900 sq ft
  • GAP at 6,500 sq ft

  • Mint Velvet at 1,900 sq ft
  • Dune London at 1,300 sq ft
  • Clarks at 5,100 sq ft
  • Regatta at 1,550 sq ft

Simon Waterfield, Developer and Co-owner of Scotch Corner Richmond LLP, said: "Our vision is to create a retail and leisure destination that will appeal to customers from near and far. We're attracting great brands, an appetising line-up of restaurants and cafés, and we will have an exciting events programme to ensure customers have a really memorable visit."

"With no other major outlet centres within a 60-minute drive, and nearby towns generally providing a lower priced fashion offer, we feel confident that we will add to the appeal and prosperity of the region."

Enabling and infrastructure works have started on site, with the development set to open in 2021.

The second phase will introduce a further 100 acres of retail and extensive indoor and outdoor facilities, taking Scotch Corner Designer Village to 125 acres overall.

The development will also contain an evolving multi-brand retail space, featuring a curated mix of independent, regional and coveted brands.
