Fenwick resumes online orders

15 April 2020

Following “significant changes” to the way in which orders are picked and packed, Fenwick have confirmed that they will begin taking new orders from today.

Fenwick made the decision to temporarily close all Fenwick stores to the public on Thursday 19 March, with stores still remaining closed. The company subsequently paused e-commerce orders a week later.

With processing outstanding orders and refunds as a priority, the businesses online website is now accepting new orders, with all staff working to service the website having volunteered to do so.

Returning staff will be working on rotation to select orders to ensure their wellbeing and safety, with the business citing that "new orders may take a little longer than usual".

In a statement on the company's website, Fenwick said: "Not everything is available as yet but we hope you enjoy choosing from this edit. We are continuing to work on bringing you more products to browse and shop, as and when it is safe to do so."

The company is also extending its returns policy to accommodate the difficulty in visiting Post Offices, with any items purchased from the website from 15 April 2020 being accepted for return for 28 days from the date stores re-open, providing they meet the usual terms and conditions.

The statement concluded: "We would also like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for your many kind messages of support and look forward to welcoming you back to Fenwick."
