Fenwick Newcastle unveils its famous animated Christmas windows

Fenwick has unveiled its famous animated windows for Christmas 2017 at its flagship Newcastle store, which this year star Paddington Bear.

The "With Love from Paddington" windows feature scenes from Michael Bond's classic children's books, such as rom Paddington's first meeting with the Brown family at Paddington Station to taking tea in Mr Gruber’s antiques shop.

Matt McWhinnie, Head of Marketing at Fenwick Newcastle, said: “It’s a huge pleasure to feature such an iconic children’s character in our 2017 animated windows. We hope everyone enjoys them and wish all a very happy Christmas.”

Fenwick's Christmas windows generate great excitement in Newcastle and past themes have included Alice in Wonderland, Oliver Twist, Peter Pan and Aladdin.

Paddington was revealed as the star of Marks & Spencer's Christmas campaign this week in a campaign designed to coincide with the release of the Paddington 2 movie.
