Fat Face to close stores on Boxing Day
Fat Face has announced its stores will close in the UK, US and Republic of Ireland on Boxing Day this year.
In a statement on LinkedIn, the brand said: "After careful consideration, we have decided to close our UK, ROI and US Stores on Boxing Day this year.
"While many of our stores were forced to close last year, the widespread disruption of the global pandemic prevented family gatherings. This year, we want our teams to enjoy a well-deserved break and spend time with loved ones over the festive season."
The Fat Face website will be open on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, following the launch of its sale online at 4pm on Christmas Eve. Some employees will be working on Boxing Day, but the closure gives many of its workers another day off to enjoy.
Fat Face joins retailers including M&S, Aldi, Morrisons and Holland & Barrett, whose stores will also be closed on 26 December.
