British and international fashion elite flocked to Southwark Cathedral for a memorial service today to offer final goodbyes and celebrate the life of the 'Godmother of Punk', Dame Vivienne Westwood.

Not only did tartan-clad friends and family gather, but also some of the biggest names in fashion, including Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham. Crowds formed as famous faces came together to celebrate Britain's first true superstar fashion designer, known across the globe for her iconic looks - from punks to pirates, corsets and tweeds.

Many obituaries reflected on her extraordinary position in the global fashion industry that she had created for herself. Pioneer. Icon. Legend. Iconoclast. Activist. These were only some of the descriptions used to describe the legend that was, and still is, Dame Vivienne Westwood.

The British Fashion Council confirmed that London Fashion Week February 2023, which commences tomorrow, will be dedicated to the memory and legacy of the Westwood.
