Fashionphile opens first physical UK space with London pop-up

Fashionphile, the US-founded luxury resale platform that acquired Luxe Collective in October 2025 - marking its entry into the UK luxury resale market - has opened a pop-up at China Works, 100 Black Prince Road in London’s Vauxhall.

The move marks Fashionphile’s transition from a digital-first model to physical retail in the UK, offering customers the opportunity to shop its edit of authenticated luxury pieces in person, as it does with its established US retail model.

The Vauxhall pop-up will showcase an edit of iconic pieces from Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Gucci, including rare colourways, limited-edition designs, sought-after classics and hard-to-find vintage pieces. Appointments can be booked on the Fashionphile website.

Created for established collectors and first-time resale shoppers alike, the space allows visitors to view pieces up close and appreciate their craftsmanship and condition, as well as receive support from Fashionphile’s UK team, which includes Luxe Collective co-founder Ben Gallagher, who is now Head of UK Brand & Growth.

Gallagher said: “Opening the Fashionphile London pop-up is a major moment for us. We have established Fashionphile in the UK online, but there is nothing like seeing a piece in person, especially where craftsmanship and condition matter so much.

“This is the first big step in bringing a physical retail experience we have developed across the US to the UK, and we are excited to grow from here.”

Fashionphile’s US retail portfolio includes flagships, salons, stores and pop-ups. Depending on the location, these sites combine shopping with services such as selling, returns, order collection and drop-off.

The company has not confirmed how long its London pop-up will operate. Its current offer focuses on in-person shopping and collection, while the wider UK business is being developed around online retail, authentication and direct purchasing from sellers.

Luxe Collective was founded by brothers Ben and Joe Gallagher in 2018 from their parents’ bedroom on Merseyside. They sourced pre-owned designer items from the likes of eBay and Depop, then refurbished them and sold them via social media channels - building a following of millions.

That led to an appearance on Dragon’s Den, which secured a £100,000 investment from entrepreneur Steven Bartlett, who took a 3% stake in the business.

However, a devastating warehouse burglary in July 2024 saw around £500,000 worth of stock stolen. The company struggled to recover and subsequently closed down operations.

Fashionphile, which was founded in 1999, came knocking soon after to launch Fashionphile UK, with Ben and Joe Gallagher joining the new company and now leading its UK charge.
