The inaugural Dazed Fashion Forum took place at the weekend. Attended by 350 students, the day of talks, hosted by Amazon at its new Shoreditch photography studio, was designed to inspire students and young creatives by giving them access to some of fashion’s biggest names.

Diesel creative director Nicola Formichetti, designer Gareth Pugh, filmmaker Ruth Hogben, Dazed’s Katie Shillingford, sound designer Frederic Sanchez, artist and model Phoebe Collings-James, fashion editor Alexander Fury, make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench, filmmaker Juliette Larthe, journalist Susie Lau, artist Matthew Stone and the RCA’s Zowie Broach all took to the stage to take part in talks.

There were also interactive workshops with some of London’s most renowned creatives, including Gary Card, Digital Fairy, Richard Malone and Ryan Lo, as well as a live publishing studio from Ditto Press and a portrait and t-shirt printing studio with fashion designer and illustrator Claire Barrow.

The event also offered the opportunity to watch a live fashion shoot with acclaimed photographer Rankin, who captured portraits of attendees styled by Dazed senior fashion editor Emma Wyman.

All proceeds from the event, which ended with an after party DJ’d by ONEMAN and Jon Rust, were donated to Hackney Community College.
