Fashion auctions are no stranger to Industry member, Emma Allen. Her business, which sells second-hand designer fashion on eBay, is based on them. Which is why Art Against Knives couldn’t have picked a better veteran to support their upcoming charity auction.
For Art Against Knives, our Emma has delved deep into her contact book to source some of fashion’s most sought after pieces. Up for grabs is that iconic Christopher Kane ‘Galaxy’ dress, hats and headpieces from Philip Treacy and Bernstock Speirs, exclusive leathers from Todd Lynn, dresses from Hussein Chalayan, Richard Nicoll, Giles Deacon and L’Wren Scott plus footwear from Rupert Sanderson and Nicholas Kirkwood.
“We are overjoyed to be hosting this auction on behalf of Art Against Knives, a charity that we have great respect and admiration for,” explains The Industry‘s Emma. “To be able to offer our support through selling some of the most wonderful pieces of fashion we have ever seen is a true honour.”
Exploiting her business model to its full potential, Emma will be doing what she does best and putting all these items on eBay come 1st December. All proceeds will go to Art Against Knives and lots will be listed on stylesequel.com (which links directly through to eBay) for ten days straight.
