Farfetch has unveiled its festive campaign for Christmas 16, The Holiday Remix, which has as its centrepiece a shoppable film featuring an updated and remixed version of Dance of The Sugar-Plum Fairy from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker ballet.

Choreographed by Dana Foglia (whose work includes choreography for Beyoncé’s landmark Formation video) the film shows off the the best of the luxury platform's partywear, which can be shopped directly from the video.

The version of the video that appears on the Farfetch website employs Cinematique technology (the world's first "touchable video" platform). Each time a customer adds an item to their edit a number will appear and the pieces will be ready to shop at the end the film.

Following the launch of the video, Farfetch will release specially curated edits of partywear onto their site with a view to encouraging the customer to take a fresh view of their festive formalwear such as 6 of the Best: Party Sneakers or Selfish Shopping – Gifts for Me.
