Farfetch launches "Pre-Order" as part of its Positively Farfetch initiative

25 August 2021

Farfetch has launched a new "Pre-Order" service providing early access to newest product to all of its customers before they are available to the wider public.

The global luxury fashion platform has said the move would "elevate customer experience and build customer engagement whilst positioning the platform as the place to access the latest products".

Pre-Order products will be available to shop monthly with product shipped approximately four weeks after purchase.

10 brands have been confirmed for launch, including Nanushka, Balenciaga, Khaite, Off-White, Palm Angels and Oscar de la Renta. Many brands are launching Pre-Order for the very first time through Farfetch.

The service aims to minimise waste by only making available what has been sold and forms a "small part of the wider Positively Farfetch initiative".

To further underscore the conscious efforts behind "Pre-Order", the entire campaign behind the launch is carbon neutral. Not a single sample was shipped for the campaign and influencers will be using digital assets to "wear" Pre-Order styles.

The service launches today (25 August) with the womenswear edit available to view here, and menswear here.
