Farfetch invites startups to pitch customer experience solutions

Farfetch has opened its "Call for startups" programme, inviting technology companies to showcase their innovative solutions and giving them the opportunity to potentially pilot the technology.

The retailer said that it had partnered with over 30 tech startups in 2021 to launch Virtual Try-On capabilities and digital style advisor services and is now looking to work with the next wave of startups.

This year Farfetch said it wanted to "evolve customer experience" by focusing on areas such as digital fashion, Web3, size and fit, beauty tech, sustainability and social commerce.

Applications opened on 8 March and run until 31 March 2022. The shortlist will be announced in early April and Farfetch's stakeholders will meet the chosen companies between 18 and 22 April 2022.
