Fabletics makes first athlete-led move tapping Ja’marr Chase

Fabletics is making its first-ever move into athlete-curated collections, launching a new menswear collaboration with American football star Ja’Marr Chase as it looks to deepen its push into men’s apparel.

The activewear brand has unveiled Fabletics x Ja’Marr Chase, its inaugural collection created in partnership with a professional athlete and the first official ambassadorship of its kind for the business. The launch marks a further evolution of Fabletics Men, which was introduced in 2020 and has since grown into a $300 million division. Chase joins Kevin Hart as a face of Fabletics Men.

The two-part collection will drop in stages, with the first release landing today, followed by a second release in early February. Built around the tagline "Chasing No One", the range is inspired by Chase’s lifestyle on and off the field and is designed to blend performance with everyday wearability.

"In partnership with Ja’Marr, we’re ushering in a new era for Fabletics and how we disrupt men’s apparel," said Fabletics co-founder Don Ressler. "This collaboration is about the intersection of peak performance, something that Ja’Marr embodies on and off the field, and unmistakable personal style. It’s a combination that, yet again, sets Fabletics apart from the pack - bringing bold confidence, unique innovation, and unmatched quality to the category."

Chase added: "As an athlete, what I wear is not only a reflection of my personal style, but a testament to the importance of how I move on the field, in the gym, and in all aspects of my life.

"Fabletics has allowed me to create a collection that’s not only about looking bold 24/7, but how fashion and performance go hand-in-hand in helping build your confidence in being the best."

The January drop centres on Fabletics Men’s best-selling 'The One' franchise - a deliberate nod to Chase’s nickname, 'Uno' - alongside new limited-edition graphic tees and hoodies co-created with the player. Custom designs reference Chase’s roots, including a magnolia motif inspired by his hometown’s state flower, as well as graphics intended to capture the speed and energy of his playing style.

The collaboration also introduces DNA, a new Fabletics design silhouette debuting on the Go-To Oversized Hoodie and Go-To Sweatpant.

The February drop will see the debut of GridTech, a new proprietary fabric designed to deliver warmth without weight. The GridTech Jogger and GridTech Quarter Zip Hoodie are intended to support performance and recovery, retaining heat while remaining breathable during training.

Alongside the new product innovations, the collection also features several of Fabletics’ core men’s styles, including The One Jogger and Short, The Effortless Tee, The Don Cruiser Jacket and more.
