Everything you need to know about Primark's first British standalone Home store
Primark is set to open its first standalone Home store in the Great Britain this summer, choosing Trafford Palazzo in Manchester as the flagship location. This comes after the retail giant opened its first standalone Home concept in Belfast earlier this year.
Spanning 11,900 sq ft, the new two-storey Primark Home store will feature an expansive interiors offering, jam packed with on trend, affordable homeware. The store will showcase Primark’s full interiors range including seasonal offerings such as teddy bear bedding, seafood-inspired tableware and delicate bow-themed décor alongside everyday lifestyle essentials.
Paul Baldwin, Trading Director for Home at Primark, said: "Our mission is simple: to make it easy for everyone to create a home they love, without breaking the bank. Customer reaction to our first Primark Home store in Belfast has been really positive, and we can’t wait to bring this exciting new concept to Great Britain later this summer.
"Homes have become more than just places to live, they’re an extension of our personalities, so whether it’s soft furnishings, statement tableware, or smart storage solutions you’re after, our range has something for every style and budget."
The launch also sees the arrival of Primark’s Edit - a recently introduced elevated collection featuring on-trend tableware, plush towels and home fragrances. The new store will also be home to a Travel Shop, offering adorable holiday essentials all year round.
Mark Whittaker, Managing Director at Peel Retail and Leisure, added: "The opening of Primark Home at Trafford Palazzo, in the heart of Trafford City, is an incredibly exciting moment for us. Not only because we are the first destination in Great Britain to do so, but the opening is going to be adding a leading concept to our already unique mixture of immersive shopping and leisure experiences.
"Primark Home will have something for everyone, and we look forward to the store opening in summer."
The new standalone Primark Home will complement the retailer’s existing stores across Greater Manchester, including the main Trafford Palazzo store, which offers fashion, beauty and the recently launched Primark Café, just a short walk away.
This follows the completion of the retailer's Click & Collect roll out across all 187 of its stores across Great Britain. The introduction of Click & Collect began as a trial in 2022 with the retailer announcing in 2025 that it would begin a national roll out. The final 29 stores, including all 21 in Scotland, launched the service on 21 May.
