Luxury British leather goods and accessories brand Ettinger has announced the opening of the “Ettinger Accessories Room” within Gieves & Hawkes iconic store at No.1 Savile Row.
It signals an expansion of Ettinger’s retail partnership with Gieves & Hawkes, a year on from initially being stocked in the store, reinforcing the strong relationship between the two leading British luxury specialists and Royal Warrant holders.
The expansion allows Ettinger to present and display a far wider range of accessories and bags from its extensive portfolio and signature collections, including leather business bags, portfolios, canvas and leather weekend bags and totes.
Ettinger CEO, Robert Ettinger, said: “I am absolutely delighted to announce this expansion with Gieves & Hawkes with whom we have been working closely over the last year. The new room showcases the most extensive selection of our accessories and bags in a UK retailer to date, with the retailer being one of the finest tailors in the world and with one of the most iconic addresses in the global men’s tailoring world. A true privilege.”
Gieves & Hawkes managing director, Nick Keyte, added: “Gieves & Hawkes and Ettinger share many values, the most important of which is a deep-rooted passion and support for craftmanship – the beating heart of British luxury goods. Ettinger was the obvious choice in our pursuit of a world class accessories partner manufacturing in the UK.”
The new room is located in the middle of the store and there is also a craftmanship and archive display for customers to learn more about how the products are made at Ettinger’s factory in the Midlands.
To celebrate the new room, there will be an Ettinger in-store “Personalisation Day” on Friday 22 November, when customers can get their initials embossed on select leather items purchased that day.
Earlier this autumn Ettinger opened a “flagship residency” at Turnbull & Asser’s New York townhouse store.
