Être Cécile launches sustainable SS22 collection

Known for tongue-in-cheek slogans and luxury fabrications, Être Cécile has unveiled its athleisure-focused Spring/Summer 2022 collection. The collection looks at taking consumers down memory lane to the motocross dirt tracks and football stadiums of the 1980s.

Être Cécile was founded by Yasmin Sewell and Kyle Robinson, two London-based fashion specialists who were driven to fill a gap in the market for accessible luxury essentials. Blending British wit and Parisian charm, Être Cécile continues to reflect its long-standing desire to create accessible and high quality pieces for its SS22 collection.

Être Cécile's focus on sustainability leans on producing clothes using ethically sourced materials and creating future-friendly wardrobe classics. The company stands firmly against fast fashion and instead adopts a slower, more mindful approach with a focus on quality. Natural and plant-based textiles feature heavily throughout collections where possible.

Classic Cecile styles are emblazoned with dizzying graphics and stamped with vibrant iterations of the brand logo, featuring punny slogans like ‘Jog On’. Nodding to 90s proportions, loungewear silhouettes are subtly oversized, accompanied by silk slips and straight leg jeans.

Newcomers include cargo pants crafted from silk and velour, a mid-length silk skirt that strikes a balance between floaty and fitted, a jersey dress with colour block detailing, and a Être Cécile football shirt.
