Hong Kong-listed fashion brand Esprit has announced that Pak William Eui Won has been permanently appointed to the role of CEO, after spending the last four months in the position on an interim basis.

Pak will also remain in his positions of Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, which he has held since September 2021.

A lawyer by background, Pak is a "seasoned executive" who can refer to a decade of experience in the financial services and fund management industry and expertise in technology, alternative energy, mining and real estate. As Esprit highlighted he is further capable of "identifying and revitalising underperforming areas and driving favourable results while ensuring sustainable growth".

Pak is the spouse of Chiu Christin Su Yi, who is an Executive Director of Esprit and also the Chairman of the Board. In his new role Pak will earn an annual salary of £173,038.

Pak replaces Mark Daley as CEO, who resigned from the position after nine months due to personal family matters. Daley in turn had replaced the former New Look CEO Anders Kristiansen who joined the company in June 2018.
