END to expand womenswear for AW21 and looks to recruit new buyer
Contemporary high-end designer meets streetwear men’s independent END is looking to grow its women’s offer for AW21, and is actively seeking to take on a womenswear buyer to work with senior buyer, Sev Halit – formerly of Selfridges – who joined END earlier this month.
The current women’s offer at END is mainly a selection of Comme des Garçons Play long-sleeved and short-sleeved Tees and hoodies, as well as some Nike and Adidas sneakers and some Nike x Off-White sportswear pieces. But the new role will see END “expand further into womenswear by offering a curated selection of luxury, contemporary and street fashion products” – presumably in the same vein as the men’s offer, which includes everything from Gucci to Stüssy.
END was founded with a store in Newcastle in 2005 by Christiaan Ashworth and John Parker. As well as the strong online business, it also now operates stores in Glasgow and Soho in London.
