END. opens Newcastle flagship store on historic Grey Street

END. has announced the opening of its new flagship store in Newcastle, situated close to the British retailer's previous Grainger Street store.

Located on 104 - 108 Grey Street, the new flagship is housed within one of the city’s iconic Grade II listed buildings that was once home to the Byron Burger chain.

Designed by Brinkworth to the same design concept as END.’s other stores in London and Glasgow, the 3,700 sq ft store features a material palette of marble, stainless steel, mirror and maple to create large, monolithic landscapes throughout the space to showcase its luxury multi-brand portfolio.

The Grey Street store is split across three floors, with sneakers, streetwear and skate in the basement, alongside a launch space for exclusive product releases. The ground floor presents a selection of contemporary and classic brands, while the first floor showcases a range of luxury labels, beauty and lifestyle products.

The relocation of the retailer's hometown bricks and mortar store aims to blend the online END. experience with a physical space to enhance its omni-channel offerings.

Adam Brinkworth, Brinkworth's CEO commented on the new space: "I admire END.’s commitment to physical retail venues as each store enriches relationships with their customer community. Despite the brands global success, END. is still dedicated to its local, loyal customers, and this return to their hometown of Newcastle, following the brand’s first store opening over 15 years ago, is a true testament to that commitment."
