26 August 2022

Luxury streetwear and sportswear retailer END. has announced the appointment of Nick Bailey as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer.

Bailey joined the British retailer earlier this month from Hunkemöller International BV, European lingerie retailer, where he had been global merchandising, planning and distribution director since 2016. Prior to this he held several senior roles at George’s Asda, Gap and Marks & Spencer.

This appointment follows the appointment of Parker Gundersen as the new Chief Executive Officer announced in June 2022. END. added that they are continuing to build their strategic leadership capability to support aspirational growth plans, following last year’s majority investment in END. by global investment firm Carlyle.

Parker Gundersen, who joined the Board ahead of being appointed as END.’s CEO in early August commented: “Since the investment in END. by Carlyle last year, the company has continued to progress its strategic growth plans. We’re delighted that Nick has joined the END. Executive team, with his extensive experience in building growing retail business, he will enable us to continue to build on the great foundations already in place.

"Nick will lead the development of our supply chain strategy and our exceptional customer experience, building on our substantially increased capabilities in digital and marketing. We’re also building our portfolio of statement stores in the UK and internationally, bringing new and exciting propositions to our loyal and future customers.”
