END and C.P. Company celebrate 20 years with corner shop-inspired capsule
As part of its continued 20th anniversary celebrations, Streetwear retailer END has unveiled its second collaboration with Italian label C.P. Company. The four-piece limited-edition capsule launches today.
Titled the END x C.P. Company ‘Corner Shop’ collection, the collaboration draws inspiration from a beloved and distinctly British cultural icon: the corner shop. Revered for its role as a local hub and symbol of familiarity, subculture and daily ritual, the corner shop becomes a powerful metaphor for both brands' commitment to craft, storytelling and innovation.
The collection reinterprets four of C.P. Company's most recognisable silhouettes from the Goggle Puffer (£700) to the Technical Vest (£350), Bomber Jacket (£550) and Crossbody Bag (£150) through END's contemporary lens.
At the centre of the offering is the debut of C.P. Company’s new Kan-D fabric, a transparent, luminous monofilament nylon with a cellophane-like finish. Named for ‘Klear Achronic Nylon Dyed’, Kan-D nods to the shiny, tactile allure of sweet wrappers lining corner shop shelves and is the latest innovation in C.P. Company’s storied legacy of textile experimentation.
"This collection is a tribute to material exploration, technical craftsmanship, and the extraordinary beauty found in the everyday," the brands said in a statement.
So far, END has launched several exclusive collaborations in celebration of its 20th anniversary. In May, it launched the ‘North Sea’ collection in partnership with And Wander and Crocs, which paid homage to the retailer’s North East roots.
This followed April's ‘Chip Shop’ capsule collection, and the ‘Tie the Knot’ collection and campaign with Adidas Originals, which launched in March.
The END. x C.P. Company 'Corner Shop' collection is available exclusively from today at END. flagship stores in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, London and Milan, as well as online at endclothing.com.
