Ellesse celebrates 65th anniversary with luxury trainer launch

Italian sportswear giant Ellesse has today launched a new trainer called ‘LSR’ in celebration of its 65th anniversary, marking a step into the luxury fashion space for the brand.

The launch is accompanied by new campaign, featuring model Kit Price, DJ Fiona Zanetti, and content creator D’nieccio – set in a traditional Italian villa.

It sees the LSR sneaker elegantly served on a silver tray by Kit Price to couple Fiona Zanetti and D’nieccio, "symbolising the exclusive nature of the new design".

Inspired by the archive and reimagined for today, the overarching design concept of Ellesse’s LSR is derived from one of the brand’s most recognisable archive styles, the ‘Laser’ shoe.

Living up to Ellesse founder Leonardo Servardio’s passion for quality and attention to detail in tailored sportswear and lifestyle, the LSR is designed and hand finished in Italy and features a sleek silhouette while also prioritising comfort and fit.

It is available in 11 colourways and comes in four varying styles: ‘Luxe’, ‘DNA’, ‘Archive’ and ‘Pop’, each featuring unique characteristics.

‘Luxe’ comes in a three colours of high grade suede with "signature laser deboss lines", ‘DNA’ transforms the LSR into a more future-facing design - inspired by the ‘Laser OG’, in two colourways.

Meanwhile, ‘Archive’ also takes influence from the ‘Laser OG’ sneaker, but with a more minimal approach, also in two colourways, and ‘Pop’ is designed for unisex appeal and comes in four pastel shades.

The LSR sneaker is available from today on Ellesse’s website, in-store and through selected retailers worldwide, priced at £120.
