Lucy & Yak is launching a limited edition collaboration collection with musician Ed Sheeran, inspired by the artwork from his most recent album, ‘Equals’.

The collection will be available to buy on the sustainable clothing brand's website from 14 July 2022, and features butterfly prints and designs with a neutral colour palette of ecru and black.

Made from organic cotton, the collection includes a pair of Lucy & Yak’s signature dungarees, apparently loved by the singer, as well as a hoodie, T-shirt and a reversible bucket hat made from deadstock fabric.

Lucy Greenwood, Co-founder of Lucy & Yak, said: “The butterfly used in Ed’s album artwork holds a really special meaning to him, and so we’re honoured to be able to bring this to life as part of such a special collection - particularly as we know that Ed shares our passion for doing better for the environment.

“We’ve been fans of Ed for over a decade, so when he got in touch we were delighted to be able to collaborate on a collection which brings ‘Sheerios’ and ‘Yakkers’ together. We had an amazing time working with Ed’s incredible fans to model the pieces too.”

To mark the launch, Lucy & Yak has invited an eclectic line-up of talented musicians to record their own Ed Sheeran covers, and will encourage their ever-enthusiastic customers and Ed Sheeran fans to send in their own covers for a campaign film that “brings everyone together”.

The ‘L.E Original’ dungarees will retail at £65, the ‘Bailey’ hoodie at £58, the ‘Denver’ T-shirt at £28 and the ‘Travis’ bucket hat at £22.
