Dune London donates 1000 pairs of shoes to NHS staff

Dune London has donated 1000 pairs of Dune Easy shoes to Guy’s and Saint Thomas’ hospitals in London to give thanks to the incredible work from NHS staff members currently.

Following a conversation with an NHS surgeon, who mentioned the lack of appropriate footwear for working in the hospitals, the team at Dune London decided to pull together a donation from the Dune Easy range.

The footwear are made to be easy to pull on and wipe clean, whilst also benefiting from enhanced flexibility and cushioning, which is the ideal combination for staff working on the wards and in theatre.

During May 2020, a lorry containing 1000 pairs of women’s and men’s Dune Easy shoes arrived and was gratefully received at Evelina London, Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals.

Daniel Rubin, Executive Chairman said: “It is our absolute pleasure, and indeed our duty, to support our fabulous NHS during these challenging times. We hope that our small token of support will go some way to helping the dedicated teams working in these hospitals.”

Last month, Dune London announced a second phase of their campaign with actress Gillian Anderson, as brand ambassador for its Spring/Summer 2020 campaign, which celebrates the brands London roots.
