Dune London appoints new CEO

British footwear and accessories brand Dune London have appointed Nigel Darwin as CEO.

Darwin will be based at The Dune Group’s headquarters in West London, and brings extensive global brand experience from across the fashion and beauty consumer sectors.

Darwin started his career at strategy consultants OC&C, where he became a Partner and led the Retail Practice. He most recently served as CEO of Toni&Guy and led a successful turnaround of the business.

He has also held various leadership roles including at skincare clinics sk:n, fashion retailer New Look, and at US leather goods brand Coach.

Dune’s Chairman, Daniel Rubin, took over as CEO of the business in March 2020 when the previous incumbent, James Cox, left the business. Daniel will remain as Chairman of the Group.

Daniel Rubin said: "I am looking forward to Nigel joining us at this exciting time for the business. He brings a wealth of experience of running consumer focussed companies and will play a key role in delivering our ambitious growth plans, both in the UK and internationally."

The brand unveiled its debut kids footwear collection this year, which features ready-to-run trainers, school shoes, and miniature versions of its best-selling styles.
