Footwear retailer Dune London has added Pay later options from Klarna at checkout across five European markets.

Customers shopping in the UK, Austria, Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland will now have the ability to pay for their purchases in 30 days or in instalments.

The retailer, which recently announced Gillian Anderson as the face of its SS20 campaign, said the payment options would enable shoppers to buy with more confidence allowing them to try shoes in different sizes, colours and styles before paying.

“At Dune London it is our aim to provide the best possible shopping experience across all of our customer facing channels and we feel that the addition of Klarna’s payment options will support this objective not just in the UK, but in our markets across Europe. We want our customers to be able to shop and pay however, wherever and whenever they want," said Dune London head of digital product Elaine Smith.

Klarna Vice President Luke Griffiths added: “We are delighted to partner with The Dune Group to create the best shopping experience for their customers across Europe. With over 85 million customers globally, we know that the addition of Dune London to the Klarna shop directory will be welcomed by millions of shoppers in Europe.”

Disruptive payments provider Klarna now counts more than 200,000 merchants globally among its client base with companies as diverse as H&M, IKEA, Expedia Group, Samsung, ASOS, Peloton, Abercrombie & Fitch, Nike and AliExpress offering its payment options.
