DREST removes app from Russian App Store

Luxury fashion styling game DREST has announced that it is removing its app from the Russian App Store to demonstrate its "solidarity with the people of Ukraine, and with the many Russian citizens who oppose this malignant war."

The company has also announced that it is committing to triple the donations of all DREST employees this week to support the Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. It is further supporting its employees who are committed to providing aid by collecting and transporting valuable equipment.

The company commented: "Like so many around the world, we at DREST have watched the atrocities occurring in Ukraine and felt shocked, devastated and desperate to help those affected. Our actions feel small in the face of such devastation, but the millions of small actions taken by so many around the world give us the hope we need to hold on to."

Last month, DREST announced that it had appointed Lisa Bridgett as CEO, as a part of planned management team evolution to build a gamified, user-generated content metaverse.
