Draya Michele x Superdown launches collection with extended sizing
American media personality, model and fashion designer, Draya Michele, has continued to drop new collections with Superdown for REVOLVE - showcasing the strength of the collaboration.
The collaboration highlights how variety and staggered releases could be the future of fashion, with a variety of styles and sizing on offer, reaching a wider demographic than most high-street brands without compromising on design.
Every month since October, Draya Michele x Superdown has released a curated collection relating to a relevant theme from the designer, with January being Michele's birthday month and February celebrating Valentine's Day. With a direct hand in every step of the design process, Michele evokes her creativity and models each garment herself before release to ensure every aspect is how it should be, from fabric to length and fit.
March will see the final planned drop from the collaboration, a music festival-inspired collection, with nothing announced further at the current time.
Speaking to TheIndustry.fashion, Draya Michele said: "It was really important for me to carry my values into the Superdown collab. I’m proud that we offer my favourite styles from the collection in extended sizes from XXS to XXL."
The collection is made with nightlife in mind, meshing Michele's edgy style with the silhouettes Superdown is known for, creating a series of capsule collections that appeal to a variety of young women across the globe. Prices in the collection range from £33 to £88, with 93 pieces available currently.
Founded in LA in 2003, REVOLVE stocks 500 premium and luxury fashion brands including A.P.C, Frame, Ganni and Needle & Thread. The UK is already its third largest global market accounting for approximately 35% of its European presence. Draya Michele was named one of Superdown’s first ambassadors when it launched from Revolve in April 2019, with this collaboration being the first by an influencer from the brand.
