Dior launches new podcast 'Dior Talks'

French fashion house Dior has announced a new creative initiative, with a podcast series titled “Dior Talks.”

According to a press release, the podcast series that will feature conversations with "artists, collaborators and close friends of the House, all prestigious figures from the cultural sphere", with topics ranging from "the role of art to the key stages of feminism".

Hosted by London-based writer, curator, and art historian Katy Hessel, Dior Talks debut season focuses on feminist art, including a discussion with the label’s Creative Director for womenswear, Maria Grazia Chiuri. She is recorded on a leisurely stroll through the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris and later in her Dior office

The second episode Katy Hessel speaks with Judy Chicago, the American first-generation feminist artist, educator and writer. Her collaboration with Maria Grazia Chiuri on the Dior Spring-Summer 2020 haute couture show resulted in both the realisation of a large-scale work planned since the 1970's.

The podcast debuted 8 March 2020 on International Women's Day, available now on Dior’s web page dedicated to the show.
