Dilara Findikoglu brings high fashion to the high street with Boux Avenue collaboration

London-based designer Dilara Findikoglu has become a staple of London Fashion Week in recent years. Now, the avant-garde designer is collaborating with high-street lingerie label Boux Avenue on a "bold" corsetry-inspired collection.

Since founding her label in 2016, Dilara Findikoglu has become known for her goth-glamour aesthetic and innovative designs. She was recently shortlisted for British New Establishment Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards.

Now, the high fashion designer is joining forces with high street haven Boux Avenue, known for its affordable and fashion-forward lingerie. The Dilara x Boux Avenue collaboration is "a bold and contemporary celebration of empowered femininity". The limited-edition collection consists of ten designer lingerie looks, in sizes 6 to 16, with prices ranging from £26 to £85.

Dilara Findikoglu said: "I’ve always wanted to launch a lingerie collection, so this collaboration with Boux Avenue felt like the perfect opportunity. One of the reasons for partnering with Boux Avenue is that it allows many more people from my community as well as the larger market to own a Dilara Findikoglu piece for themselves."

Fans of the fashion brand will recognise the designer's love for corsetry and historically informed silhouettes. Think 1950s pin-ups and fetish magazines. Of course, the collection is informed by her signature colours of red, pale pink, powder blue and black.

Zoe Price-Smith, Chief Design and Product Officer at Boux Avenue, said: "Celebrated for its accessible luxury lingerie, the Boux Avenue brand goes from strength to strength. What better way to turn heads than with this cool limited edition collab."

After a year in the making, the Dilara x Boux Avenue collection is set to debut next week on 29 January. It will be available online at Boux Avenue and also in its Oxford Street London flagship store.
