Diesel names new global CEO

Diesel has announced the appointment of Eraldo Poletto as its new global CEO, effective 1 July 2022.

Currently CEO of Diesel North America, Poletto has also held other CEO positions at Stuart Weitzman, Salvatore Ferragamo and Furla. Poletto will take over from Massimo Piominini, who joined Diesel in December 2019 to design and implement a strategy and repositioning plan for the brand.

Donald Kohler will succeed Poletto in the role of CEO of North America. In his new role, Kohler brings experience from previous senior leadership positions at Burberry and Salvatore Ferragamo.

In a post on LinkedIn, Diesel said: "Mr. Poletto, who currently holds the position of Diesel CEO for North America, has extensive knowledge of the company and has already been instrumental in developing Diesel's new market strategy."
